PA Market is being set up to supply the personally administered items that non-dispensing practices give in-house. We are not trading yet, so we are not quoting prices and we are not making any comparison with what you pay today.
We will stock the personally administered items practices actually give, not a catalogue of ten thousand lines. Individual products, pack details and prices are not published here; they will be shown to the practice once an account is open.
We will ask for practice name, ODS code, delivery address and an authorising signatory. We do not intend to charge a joining fee.
You will sign in, see your account prices and order the lines you administer. Our intended model is no minimum order and delivery to the practice. The operating detail, including how each line is handled in transit, will be set out when our licence is granted.
If our price on an item is lower than what you pay today, that difference stays with the practice. You claim exactly as you do now.
Non-dispensing NHS GP practices in England. That is the whole customer list, deliberately.
Our margin will be inside the price you see when you sign in. We do not intend to charge a joining fee, and there will be nothing hidden about how we charge.
Account prices will be commercial terms between us and your practice. We publish nothing until accounts open.
PA Market will trade under a UK wholesale dealer's licence (WDA(H)), with Good Distribution Practice and a named Responsible Person. Licence particulars will be published before accounts open.
Two GPs who spent years on the purchasing side of general practice. We are building PA Market because we think these items deserve a supplier that concentrates on them. PA Market is an independent commercial company and has no NHS backing, endorsement or affiliation.
Nothing here is prescribing advice. What you give is between you and your patient; our job is what it costs.
Leave your details and we will get in touch when accounts open. No obligation, and we will not pass your details to anyone. Please read the privacy notice below before you send anything.
Who is the controller. The details you send are handled by Dr Ed Muffett, who is the data controller for this form and can be reached at ed.muffett@doctors.org.uk. PA Market Ltd is in formation; when it is incorporated it will take over as controller and registration with the Information Commissioner's Office will be completed before accounts open.
What we collect and why. Only what you type into this form: practice name, ODS code and email address, plus anything you add to the email itself. The button opens your own email app, so the details reach us as an ordinary email. We use them for one purpose, to contact you about PA Market opening and to answer your enquiry. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry you chose to send us. Giving us these details is entirely voluntary and there is no consequence if you do not.
Who sees them and for how long. Nobody outside PA Market. We do not sell, share or pass your details to anyone else, we do not use them for any other marketing, and there is no automated decision-making or profiling. We keep register-interest details only until accounts open or you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Your email will sit in an ordinary UK-based business mailbox; if that ever means a transfer outside the UK we will use the safeguards UK GDPR requires.
Your rights. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable form, or object to our use of it, by emailing ed.muffett@doctors.org.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
